I don't know but I hope not. We can't own it. If anyone puts anything on the moon that's visible from earth someone's gonna get hurt. It's like the one thing that conects everyone to eachother, you know...we've all seen it before I would think and that conects us.

Earth owns the moon because the moon is under its gravitational pull. No one country owns it even though the united states landed on it.

No - but I would imagine The Americans government think The USA owns it (even though the words used were "for mankind" - which means everyone. But they won't remember that if they need to colonise it)
