It would depend on your proxiemty to places that sell what you're looking for. IE: Home Depot/Lowes are two places to begin.

Formica laminate can also be found by doing some research,,, LOCAL to you. No offense but researching the issue online is one thing, but purchasing online might not be the best way to proceed.

Your local building supply store. Ask for utility studs to build the wall. Cover it with a sheet of drywall. That is likely the cheapest and best solution wal-mart has spray paint in black or white at .99 cents a tin
