We lay down arms
by fireside
and each to
our conscience
we will abide.
On common ground
we seek to find
one heart
which shares
many a mind.
The winds blow cold
as the fire burns on,
while we welcome
the new and mourn
those that are gone.
Are you Us
or Them?
It matters not,
for the spoils of war
are bodies that rot.
Vultures circle
the skies above,
for the spoils of war
are all that
they love.
Feed not those
creatures whose
existence relies
upon the cold,
and the wars,
as the casualties rise.
Petty differences
have no place here
when one heart
and many minds
bid farewell to fear.
So, gather, We friends
by the warmth
of the fire-
United, our souls,
more than vultures'
fly higher.

The truth survives its aftermath
Deception burns as well it should.
Devoured by the greater good.
Eternal flame is truth and light
Shining through the darkest night.
A new day dawns and you will see
How much this world means to thee
Confusing thoughts will disappear
