well I differ a little with your mathematics
generally 6 hrs sleep is enough for any adult
most of the working people have to, SLOG.. as one may say, for not more then 10 hrs a day.. of course every one is not so lucky ... but in any case that still leaves with a balance of 8 good hrs enough to recreate/rejuvenate/ or do anything that would help to make the life meaning full.
don't forget while working also one can be creative enough to ensure a quality life by managing time, opportunities and attitude which in turn helps to add value in whatever we do..this surely would ensure some contribution towards ensuring a quality life.
one must always consider the fact that opportunities for ensuring a quality life are confronted only when we are amidst people...people whom we love, people with whom we work and people whom we even try to avoid. the lesson to remember here is that it is important to live the life to the fullest and the quality that one yearns to achieve will follow it automatically.....
still if you find yourself short of time...then start counting the weekend hours, the holidays and better still find ways and means to somehow check and save lost hours, minutes of yesterday by being more concerned and vigilant today.
I know it sounds a little crazy, but friend mind it, one can never achieve and appreciate something unless one is crazy in LOVE for that.

This life is about making the most with what you've been given.
And rest assured, this IS enough. Heaven knows that Einstein, Aristotle, Shakespeare, and other great persons found it sufficiently to their liking.
On a more practical note, you might train yourself to sustain on little more than four hours a day, though six is a much more attainable number. That said, scientists might one day discover a means by which deep sleep could be reached immediately, which would definitely cut down everyone's need for sleeping by at least half. I believe they are working on one such device at the moment.

I believe we have only one chance to live, then we die and we sleep eternally, so I believe that I need to live every second of my life that I can to it's fullest! I sleep only 4 to 6 hours a night. The quality of my waking hours depends on what my choices in my life are and not so much the amount of sleep i get. We each have our own chance to make a choice as to what we will do with our waking time.

The balance time of 4 or 5 hours should be viewed as a gem which is invaluable though small in size.

.I myself can do with only 4hours Most people sleep mare that what they really need and is a very UN-healthy way to go.as evolution moves on man will need less sleep as we will learn how to tap into the vitality streaming to us by the sun.But this is in the distant future.so it does not concern us at this time.Evolution does not move by leaps and bounds.

Since we all get the same daily amount of time,
And one presumes many have quality lives,
Then whether it's 'enough' time must be based on .....
.......whose spending it.
