What's so terrible about getting drunk?

If you have to ask then you truly don't know.
# 1. You have no control of your body or mind
# 2. For females, you might wake up with your under-ware on backwards
C. Once I woke up in juvenile hall and I didn't get released for two years! I was 14, and when I got out I was 16 years old.
# 4. I was on my motorcycle and thought I was getting on the freeway entrance and it was an exit.
# 5. Got married! LoL.
F. I have 9 DUI's on record.
# 7. Now read this and remember, I lost my ability to walk. Ten years ago I was drunk, got on my bicycle and got hit by a taxi. I lost my life but the great Doctors at Mercy Hospital brought me back. I use to ask why did they bring me back. Well I tell you what. Maybe it was to answer questions like this.
So it's not in anyone best intrest to get drunk. Not worth risking yours or someone elses Life. Oh sure you might say " I'm just gona get a little buzzed, and stay home. Well when your drunk you don't have control of yourself and you will do stupid things. Perhaps deadly things, like driving.
H. If you buy a twelve pack and you have to work the next day. Can you drink three or four beers, and leave the rest for the next day. Or do you have to drink all of them? If you drink all of them then you may be an alcoholic.

Life's difficult, frustrating and tough and we need good coping skills to get through. Getting drunk isn't a good coping skill and it can become an obsession. Lot's of people glamorize it and brag about their drunken accomplishments but talk is cheap.
One of my grandfather's liked the attention he gained from his illegitimate bar buddies so much he neglected all his legitimate responsibilities and family. He died when I was 4. The only attendees at his funeral were a very few that folks that "had to be there". Maybe 7 or 8 people including kids. His children had to become self-sufficient as teenagers. He failed as a daddy and died despised by his children and deserved it.

Getting drunk in itself is not terrible at all. It is what you do when you are drunk that matters. But if drinking is damaging your body then continuing is terrible.

I don't think it's the getting drunk part that is terrible. I think it's what people do when they are drunk that is terrible. lol. Some people can't hold their liquor and when they can't control their thoughts and actions... well that's when bad things happen.

...alcohol is a "solvent"... it dissolves "brain-cells", breaks down Liver functions, causes several types of cancers and "dissolves" friendships, marriages, children, jobs, automobiles, and causes reoccurring visits to the Courts, whereupon it might sent you on a "criminal vacation" to the Jail House... It further increased the pocket-book of the Lawyers and generally takes what was once a "good" wholesome person and turned them in to an addicted lunatic that in many cases places then in the Hospitals and mental institutions... "drink-up" !!!! (and it's expensive to become a fool these days)

for one thing it is not good for your boby or mind, you run thr risk of making a fool out of your self. THEN THERE IS DRIVING WHLE YOUR DRUNK , YOU WILL BE ARRESTED AND HAVE A RECORD THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. ONE OR TWO FRINKS ID ENOUGH FOR ANYONE.
