Is love supposed to be easy or difficult?

Easy. No 'red flags'. No disrespect. There is kindness. understanding. compassion, honesty, friendship, a genuine love. You are 'proud' to be with and be seen with that person
(That describes my second marriage... don't waste your time in a relationship that sucks the energy out of you, as in my first marriage).

I'm sorry to say this but love is supposed to be difficult. Sure, every relationship has to have it's ups and downs but it's for a reason. It just goes to show that you can't easily bail on a relationship when something may go wrong, instead you must work on it. It's love, trust me, it can't be easy. If love were easy there would be nothing to work for when you truly love a person and there wouldn't be a reason to do anything for them. And if it's difficult that's how you kow that it is true love. Hope I helped in any way! =)

It really greives me when I see others talking about love like this. With the Love of Christ, then can we also love others. Love is not shown in what we give or do to others. It is not shown in how many flowers or kisses that give to our girl friend. Love is also NOT shown by God forbid, sexual activity out of marriage.

It can be difficult to love unconditionally as our Father in heaven, does love us. I know from my own experience that it is impossible to love when my heart is filled with bitterness and unforgivness. We need to forgive others of everything that they did to us and then can we Love the unconditionally. I really Love the way that God forgives us. As the scripture says, From the east to the West, I will remember your sin no more! With that said, I really want and need to be more like Jesus.

Now, if we Love Jesus and if we give our life to him and be baptized repent and be forgiven, it is so much more easier to Lover others. I can Love Brothers and Sisters in the Lord as them being also risen with Christ but not necessarily that I want a relationship with that person any deeper than good friends.

it's supposed to be difficult i think..

if you can get past the difficulties in a relationship and still remain a couple, thats when you know that it's love that is holding you together. Like glue
