Because of our high amount of industrial waste and pollution through gasses, all rain has a certain amount of acid in. Only sometimes can it be a hazard to living organisms, but mostly it will only affect limestone, so don't worry about it. The pollutive gasses rise into the air and contaminate the evaporated water that turns into rain, then it falls to the ground known as ACID RAIN and only when it has a vast amount of pollutive gasses contaminating it, would I be surprised to walk out into it.
