I really liked the part about not picking kids up and kissing them. Once, my husband patted a kid on the head. I was so scared the parents were going to go off. I had to explain it to him and he felt so bad... :(

Sarah T, yes, true but -- I do know some lazy ppl that make themselves sad. (And no, I don't agree with all the comments on there about ppl just being lazy). All of that is part of immigration. I guess being the child of an immigrant who believed 'America is what you make of it' I see it differently. Plus, I have only ever met one Moroccan who would really rather be in Morocco and hates it here...one out of so many.

Thanks for sharing! My husband totally disagreed with most of that (though he's still a bit bitter over not being able to play with random children), but I think he'd had more contact with Americans before coming than most do.

The area where I live is full of Moroccans and many of them want to live the life of opportunity here and then return someday to their homeland... whether full-time or for part of the year.

America is thought to be this magical place where everything is roses and honey and that is just not the case. It may be better in certain areas and not in some others.

As for the article:

People get out of their cars all the time... not a good idea but it happens. It is NOT out of respect but out of the safety for the officer.

No... don't pick up random kids... we don't kiss each other on the cheek here... men don't kiss men... this is not just in America but in a lot of European countries as well.

Does anybody know what is in hotdogs? Read the labels... if you feel appauled eat kosher hot dogs (there are no halal hot dogs so kosher is the next best thing).

A doctor VISIT should be no more than $50-60. When I was in Morocco the first thing I needed to do was see a doctor -- it cost me ~$38.

Being late on anything will put a 'black mark' on your credit rating. Yes, this country runs by credit not by the reputation you have with the bank. Again read the back of your statement you get every month and it's right there. Credit cards are haram anyway -- shouldn't be using them to begin with in the first place.

If you are lonely most of the time -- that's called depression. There are plenty of drugs for that condition. It's not 'cause you are Moroccan.

An education can be a lot of things. But to get an eduction just to get a piece of paper is never a good thing -- for anybody -- guidance councelors not doing their job as usual.

This writer is definately bitter about something and that whole article didn't give the underlying reason why.

Ahahaha superb, all of us understand why, with the aid of fact God isn't actual, people in those days had no different determination yet to make God up whilst the unexplainable happened, we now understand plenty extra it particularly is why 'God' would not carry out for us a.ok.a all of us understand the actual solutions as to what happens whilst some thing 'unexplainable' happens. There fairly isn't any reason to believe to any extent further, it is so out dated that's magnificent every person can nevertheless. I advise what info have they have been given? One e book written approximately 2 thousand years in the past, decrease back then plenty replaced into un chanced on, all of us understand plenty extra now than the followers who wrote in the Bible do. the only reason every person nevertheless believes is with the help of the fact they're insecure of fact and choose for some thing to fall decrease back on whilst cases at the instant are not easy.
