As God is supposed to be all powerful, and it is more powerful to do something that you meant to do then to dream us into existence without knowing about it, then it would not be the ultimate example of great power.

I guess if a God is powerful enough to "make" or "dream" us into existence, He would at least know about it!

An all knowing-perfect God would know exactly what He had done. He even knew what He was doing when He dreamed you.

well, if you were to believe in the Christian God, then you'd believe that God created the universe in 6 days and then had sunday off for a rest... its quite a big universe, so i'm sure that he hadn't thought everything through properly and that he made some big mistakes along the way... maybe thats why he came up with such things as Human Beings, earthquakes, tidal waves, murder, rape, torture, guns, bombs, wars, the premature death of children, suffering, pain, loneliness, prisons, drug addictions, napalm, collateral damage etc etc etc.... (cos he hadnt thought it all through properly - either that or God is a sinister, twisted devil type character!)
So i'm sure he's capable of making a few more mistakes along the way...

There is always that possibility but I doubt that we would then have had the ability to love ,recognize beauty ,care for nature ,justice, righteousness and the like. These are things that exist outside our selves and seems to me to have been infused in our nature by a thinking and involved God,not a God who happened to "oops" us into existence.

You may believe so, if you are "powerful" enough to dream him into existance.

If you believe your God to be omnipotent then the answer has to be yes. On the other hand, if you don't subscribe to any particular God but just ask the question generally you need to look in your holy books for the answer.

He is powerful enough but since he knows everything then the answer is no.
