If he makes a deal, he does time, at least a year, and I don't think Goodell will let him back into the league. What do you guys think??

I don't think his career is over if he accepts the plea and go to jail....I seriously doubt that Goodell will give him a lifetime ban....but when he does come back....because lets face it somebody will pick him up he will not have the earning power that he once had.

I would say it's 99.9% that Vick is done! OH if it were me running the league it would be 100%! I still say they should tie a few steaks on him and let him go in a field the turn the dogs loose! He is the opitime of scum in my booK!

LOL! Uncle(NUMBNUT) I have always had animals and no I never kicked them. What Vick did was TOUTURE THEM! Why does he deserve a 2nd chance? He did something he knew was 100% illeagal for 6 years and he deserves a 2nd chance! That has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. So I guess a serial rapiest deserves a 2nd chance to! What the guy did was cruel and inhumane! And I will tell you one thing since it seems that you know zero about the world that if he were allowed back in the NFL they would say typical Americans! People can break the law and still be allowed to have a celebity life. Man you better get your facts straight! I know because I lived in Spain for 2 years. They have bullfighting there and for the most part the majority of the people there hate it! The only reason they allow it is because of the tourists and the fact that it is man against bull and sometimes the bull wins! I always cheer for the bull and so did everyone that I knew from there. It's morons like you that cause the problems becuase you think you can justify something that is as disgusting as dogfighting. Maybe they should strap spome steaks on you to! That would be fair!

Yes his career is over. If Goodell has the balls, which I believe he does, Vick will be banned for life. He better get at least 5 years.

His career is over - not because of the dog thing - but because last April he looked Goodell in the eye and told him that he had done nothing wrong. Lying and gambling - that is all the strikes he gets. No career for Vick.

His Career is over. Not only will he spend more than one year in jail and will be completely out of football shape when he finally gets out Goodell will definatley suspend him for two years.
At that stage who would want a 29 year old quaterback who will probably lost his only asset, his speed, and will be stuck with a very average passer, who will be a PR nightmare and a major headache for anyone who would be stupid enough to take him.
p.s If the allegations are true and they pretty much have to be by now, he is a disgracefull human being.

I sure hope so! That guy is a scumbag. He'll never be welcomed back into the NFL. Even if the commissioner lets him back into the league, the fans won't. He's already lost all of his endorsement deals (like Nike I think) and it's not a good move for the NFL to let him come back. He'll do his time and live like a normal individual far from the fame and fortune he once had.

His career could be done. If he enters in the plea deal he will have to do time. When he comes back after his time he probably won't get picked up. Also supposedly Mike Vick bet on the dogfighting games and in the NFL if you are involved in illegal gambling you can get tossed from the league for life.

Yes, I believe his career is over, as it should be. I hope part of his sentence is to get some therapy geared towards helping him develop empathy for other living things.

And to Uncle Daddy, your own hatred is very apparent. Who's not kicked a cat or a dog? OOPs, to even say that gives us a window to see into who YOU are. NOpe, I have never kicked a cat or a dog, the thought of doing so is repulsive to me. And btw, I listened to ESPN radio all day yesterday, and they were bashing Michael Vick left and right. All the callers who called in to support Vick was jeered and laughed at, most of em hung up in shame before their comment was even finished. Go ahead and support a sadistic thug but bash animal lovers instead. That 'tattered card" you use like a crutch is showing.

Vick has thrown his last errant pass in the NFL. The State of Virginia is FINALLY preparing charges on him as we speak. Probably because the Feds are investigating them for protecting Vick. If they would have done their job in the first place, Vick wouldn't be in such deep doo-doo. You might have had your boy back in a year or so. but because he tried to buy, and lie his way out of it, he is in much worse shape.

He will more than likely spend time in prison be it 1 to 5 years. He also lied to the commissioner and his team who want nothing further to do with him (they are just waiting for the right time to Axe him) when he pleads out or goes to court. As for his NFL Career...YES IT IS OVER; one of the charges involves gambling and a part of his contract with the NFL states that is a life time ban from the sport....(ref: baseballs Pete rose). As for maybe a arena league picking him up..that is also unlikely if the charges of him having a hand in the actual killings of the dogs. Who would want to bring that bad publicity on them you know PETA will be watching him for years to come.
