I mean you cannot say one is retarded... fine... now I am being told mentally handicapped is insulting. Cant call folks blacks or african americans etc... Seems like what is "Acceptable" is changing every day. I bear no group animosity or malice but holy hannah... I just cant keep up with whats insulting and whats not anymore

Political correctness is an absolute plague on our society. If I had godlike powers to ban any one thing in the world, it would be this ridiculous need to always find a more "socially acceptable" term for everything in the whole world. It's only a matter of time unless the disabled are supposed to be referred to as "intellectually alternate individuals", and blacks will be "dermally pigmentally darkened humans"... gah, it just makes me sick, it really does...

Well, the really old people I know call african americans "negroes" and "colored people" when they're trying to be really polite. It's okay. Just try to keep up and the world will most likekly make accommodations.
