Thousands have gone missing and the reason they are not ALL on our tongues is that for some reason the media are continually concentrating on something from abroad where they can point a finger at the foreign Police instead of our own inept constabularies.
I find it very strange that this story is still running with so much steam. Something very strange indeed.

No-one can say exactly how many have gone missing, but it's quite a few! We don't know their names, because a) they didn't go missing in a holiday resort abroad, b) they probably didn't go missing whilst their parents were too busy enjoying themselves to look after their kids, and c) so many go missing every day, that if the news reported them all, it would take far to long , and people would just get bored.
