why will the futuristic community be a better or worse place in which to live?

After the calamity much of the people will be gone. Man will come together. We will have to rely on each other and it will be more like the "family" of man.

better: when we look at the world, amidst all these chaos we r slowly inching our way to create a better life for all earthlings. we r in diff stages of devt - africa, europe but slowly things r changing in africa. we get aberrations but in the far or not too far, things will get better for most of us. so lets be optimistic and think +ve. construction is ongoing despite destruction. so lets all chip in and help in whatever small ways that we have.
