Yes it is getting old but, one bridge and one pipe, I don't think this is something to really worry about.

When asked of the people in that area of Minneapolis, "would they support a tax structure to build better bridges and, would you support a tax structure to rebuild this bridge" they all answered "no"

We just promised North Korea out support in the floods they're having.
We've promised support in the floods China is having.
We're going to help Peru and the earthquakes they're having.
We can't forget Africa and the people that are starving there.

I could go on and on. The objective is, out own senior citizens are starving, for what? for their very life, here in the U.S. a country they helped build.

A man yesterday tossed his wife off a fourth floor balcony because they couldn't afford the meds $800.00 a month, for her.
This is happening all over, my own med are $1800.00 not covered by Medi-care.

Our country has been deceiving us through the years. As we get old the very country we've helped build, is throwing us out with the dishwater.
They're out to save all the countries in the world, they can't help they're own senior citizens.

How many times is this question going to be asked? There must be at least 12 bridges in the USA. The whole bridge didn't fall down. Everything is getting old.

Bad stuff happens everyday everywhere. Though we should try our best to prevent these things from happening some stuff can't be stopped. the best we can do if stuff like this happens is to learn from it and try to prevent it. The bridge should have been fixed or replaced long ago if it was old.

PS: using taxes correctly can help to. ;p

Your tax money pays for the country's infrastructure. When you cut taxes again and again and let the deficit run up, then your infrastructure will start to decline.

Simple solution: Pay taxes. They are not an evil entity. They are an investment!

You sure like to exaggerate things, don't you?. Like someone else said already, it was just one bridge and one pipe, so why talking in plural?. The sky isn't falling, Chicken little.

Yes it's getting really old but not to worry, with all the new nuclear bombs getting developed and how the US seems to be pissin everyone off lately, I wouldn't doubt us getting hit by one someday and then we'll be rebuilding EVERYTHING from scratch.

...it's just another day in "paradise"... you're not going to prevent any of it... it's what happens... "stuff" gets "old" and breaks down... (just fasten your seat belt and enjoy the ride)
