I'm not sure about luck unless we might be gambling and are lucky enough to win.
I think I would rather call it opportunity, not luck, if were talking about life in general.
We work hard and have to remain centered as we go through life.
There are periods in our life that we often say we lucked out but I like to think that we worked at preparing our selves for those times when opportunity came knocking and we were ready.

No matter what one does, nothing is solelly dependent on one's own action or abilities. Certain external things need to work well (or work at all); and there is always a probabilisitic (purely a statistical factor) chance of the external stuff working or not.
Now, that, is called luck.

In the strictest sense, yes. Luck is simply what you call the occurence of an event that has a low probability of happening but happens anyway (it is good luck if it is in your favor, bad luck if it is not).

I think so. Pure, dumb, stupid, random luck. It can be good, it can be bad, and it can even sometimes be shaped into what you want it to be. I think luck is another word for the random accidents that happen in the world. But I don't think it is sentient, or favors one person over the other.

yes of course, some time if we do a very good attempt our co comer will be receving a good result witout making an attempt like us ,it doesnt mean that they are intteligent ,but that time we lag luck
