See I'm really slow and dumb and can't think of anything to write in a poem, but I want to show her that I love her so someone please just tell me a poem that you think will be a good poem to give her. Thank You

SHE walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies,
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meets in her aspect and her eyes;
Thus mellow'd to that tender light 5
Which Heaven to gaudy day denies.

One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impair'd the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress
Or softly lightens o'er her face, 10
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.

And on that cheek and o'er that brow
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow, 15
But tell of days in goodness spent,—
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent.

-Lord Byron

But I see the start of a poem in the question. Something like:
I wanted to write you a poem,
But see, I'm really slow
and dumb,
and I can't think of things to put in poems,
But I wanted to show you that I love you...

something like that. She'll appreciate it. Hell, she may even cry.

Your girlfriend loves you because of who you are, not what you provide her from someone else. If you want to give her poems, go to the bookstore and buy a book of poems...look through the book and pick out a few that express the way you feel about her and underline these in the index. Give her the book and tell her that you bought her a book of poetry and you marked which ones remind you of her and how you feel about her. "That" will be much more personal and lasting (she can keep that book with her for the rest of her life)....oh, yeah, don't forget to get her some flowers to go with the book when you give it to her. Don't try reading them to her unless she asks you to...but be prepared to do that if she does (so practice reading the ones you underlined for her). She might ask this of you so she can hear you actually say the words. You don't have to memorize them, just be comfortable reading them out loud.

good luck :)

The Quiet World

In an effort to get people to look
into each other's eyes more,
the government has decided to allot
each person exactly one hundred
and sixty-seven words, per day.

When the phone rings, I put it
to my ear without saying hello.
In the restaurant I point
at chicken noodle soup. I am
adjusting well to the new way.

Late at night, I call my long
distance lover and proudly say
I only used fifty-nine today.
I saved the rest for you.

When she doesn't respond, I know
she's used up all her words
so I slowly whisper I love you,
thirty-two and a third times.
After that, we just sit on the line
and listen to each other breathe.

"i love you much(most beautiful darling)

more than anyone on the earth and i
like you better than everything in the sky

-sunlight and singing welcome your coming

although winter may be everywhere
with such a silence and such a darkness
noone can quite begin to guess

(except my life)the true time of year-

and if what calls itself a world should have
the luck to hear such singing(or glimpse such
sunlight as will leap higher than high
through gayer than gayest someone's heart at your each

nearness)everyone certainly would(my
most beautiful darling)believe in nothing but love"

I am sure that the poems she'll love the most are the ones from your heart... even if they arent baudelaire-esque.

honestly, she would apprietiate it a million times more if you wrote it yourself, even if you aren't the best writer.. because it's actually comming from your brain and your heart.
