I need help identifying a bug in my house. Is there a good site with pictures? I tried whatsthatbug.com, but I guess I'm just a moron cuz I can't figure out the site!! I just want to know what it's called, and if it's dangerous at all. It's small, green, and has beady little red eyes. It looks similar to a leaf, though I know it's not a leaf bug. Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance.

that almost sounds like a type of southern green stink bug. difficult to accurately identify without knowing exactly what it looks like and location of habitat. maybe if you had a picture of it that would help. if you have difficulty navigating that site, instead of typing the same question repeatedly, you could try typing in the description in your search bar and it will link you to sites that match.

Sounds like the insect is a Tree hopper, should be about the size of 2 grains of rice, bright neon green. The insect is oblong and the front top of the body is higher than the rear. The order is Hemiptera. Please let me know if I'm accurate.

can you take a picture of the bug and upload it at photobucket then type the link so that we can help you identify it? there are lots of small, green creatures with beady eyes you know. for all i know it could be my ex-"husbeen's" mistress! (:

They look a lot like beetles in the family Bruchidae, but I can't be sure from the photo.
