When she cuts her hair REALLY short, she still looks feminine (think Halle Berry, Charlize Theron in some roles like Astronaut's wife and Sweet November). If she cuts her hair real short and is no longer attractive, not manly looking maybe but just plain and not pretty, then that means she was never truly pretty to begin with.

It's all in the eye of the beholder - pretty to one person could be plain looking to another.
Some people equate femininity with long and big hair, but I think there's a little more to femininity than that - and I think that's probably what you're describing - women who are really feminine are that way no matter how they look. It's more of an attitude, and how you carry yourself, than how you look, IMO.

join the rest of guys who are or have been in this boat. I have had the best of best in looks numerous times and I do miss the great looks but its pretty rare to find all in one package. There is always something it seems when dating really pretty chicks. They either stuck on themselves or the other extreme, very insecure about themselves as a whole. Or, they are very possessive. I have a wife now that is good looking in general but has a nice personality. I chose her because I realized that panning for gold is a waste of time. She is not the best of the best in looks. (dont tell her this) shhh! But, she is the better package. Like in the Indiana Jones movie looking for the Holy Grail, "I chose wisely."

That might be somewhat true, but hair has nothing to do with how i determine that.
It's the eyes and the smile is what i think is sexiest from a girl

omg i totally agree with you!!!...like brittneys spears i thought she was hideous looking wayyy before k-fed...but now that shes went bald..im glad the entire world now knows what im talking about :)
i cut my hair really short and i still look femine..but i knew i was pretty all along hehe..but shorter hair looks better on me..its a fact lol!

What is pretty to one person may not be to another. Different people have different tastes, so I don't think there is just one standard of 'pretty.'
