Do you trust products from China any more?
What is up with all these bad products coming from China?

Sneaky acts of terrorism?

Just careless mistakes?

They have always been bad and we are just now figuring it out?

That is a very interesting question, I do trust products that come from China, because a lot of what we use in America comes from China, or less wealthy countries in Asia. In fact, CNN did a story, and found out that most of our food is made in China and shipped to the US.

Most US companies are going to China because they find cheaper labor there, and can ship things for less money, plus the companies really can bypass the unions by doing this. This also helps the Chinese economy also, but it hurts the American businesses competing with the companies overseas.

Because China doesn't have some of the rules that the US has about food or the recent toy issue, the US companies who use these workers in China have to do a better job, and make sure they meet US safety concerns and rules, NOT Chinese saftety concerns and rules.

Why should I trust China for anything?
They've used or still use slave labor to make some or many of their products.
The have a huge problem with human rights infractions. If they don't treat their own people well why should they care about ours?
Manufacturers are on record for stating that they will put anything on the label that the purchaser wants--just tell them (the Chinese manufacturer and that's the way the label will read).
They skin dogs alive and boil cats alive for the fur and claim it's rabbit when they send the product out. Treatment of animals is a great indicator for a culture's attitude towards humans not to mention that this kind of thing is just sick and depraved on it's own merit.
Sure I trust Chinese and their products. I trust them to lie, cheat, steal, abuse humans and animals, all in the name of the almighty buck (or whatever their currency is called).

That is kind of a loaded question. Lets just say I don't expect a long productive life from things I buy in China. And I would definitely be leery of buying food products (even for pets) or toys for small children made there.

They have probably always been bad. But with all this heightened terrorist stuff you cant trust anything from anywhere. But what are we suppose to do.Have you went in to the store and went shopping looking at the labels .Everything is either from china or hong kong. Its getting to the point where your better off living on a farm growing your own food and having your own cows to have dairy products etc. Its just crazy.

Most of you young people just don't understand. Years ago, you were all just children or haven't been born yet. Talk to your parents.
These big companies started to move to second and third world countries due to taxes, wages and insurance programs.
One, Mattell, a large toy company moved to Mexico due to wages. They could get by with $6.30 an hour instead of the union wages here in the U.S. for like $18.00 an hour. They could work young kids, under 18 because these other countries had no labor laws, in Southeast Asia, they worked girls on sewing machines as young as eight (8) years old, up to 16 hours a day for 10 cents an hour. Wal-Mart has always sold thier clothing at inflated prices.

Now, Ford motor company is threatening to move to Mexico because of high labor. We've lost high percenages of our own labor forces due to these big corporations moving out.
Now, they're paying the price with sub-standard products, I should feel sorry for them, no way. They chose this route and now they're paying for it.

I feel and, My wife backs me up, that we should look to see where all these prodicts we buy come from and, start boycotting them. If it's not made in the U.S. and we know it's not made here or it's shipped in from othe countries, don't buy it.

Let them fry in thier own oil for there follies for moving out of this country where they have quality and safely standards. Support products made in this country.

I have lost trust in companies that bring that crap in here they must not be inspecting there crap before distributing it to stores . we buy this junk and we could make our families ill its a shame that we have to depend on foreign countries to supply this country with goods and not have inspections on the stuff before it comes to this country

Never did, never will. They have no standards. They sell their own daughters. They find the cheapest labor, cheapest material, and sell it cheap to the US who marks it up 5000% for us consumers.
