Hey I have a Canon MP600 All one in printer. When I print images from the computer they turn out to be darker than the one shown on the monitor. How can I fix this? Is there any settings I should configure?

Could simply be your monitor is too bright.

You can use tools in many video card drivers to set the monitor levels better. Also you can buy a "Spider" that reads the screen brightness and then you place it on a test print, and it creates "profiles" for the printers to get the screen/paper matching much better. Look for adverts for it in photo magazines.

You need to calibrate your monitor. The manual that came with your monitor should show you how to do this. In the meantime, if you have Adobe photoshop or some other imaging software, adjust your images so that they look lighter than you really want them so that they will look normal when you print them out.

You need to calibrate you rmonitor with a calorimeter (see link below). You can do this with the poorman's method (manually), or get a calorimeter to do it more accurately. It's worth the investment, because then you're not wasting ink and paper printing over or underexposed pictures.
