For the past week, I have had such a problem falling asleep. It's still summer break for me and I'm 16 years old. Normally in the summer I stay up until 2:30 - 3:30 AM chatting with my friends, texting, IMing, watching TV, listening to music.

For the past week as soon as I get into bed, I have such a problem falling asleep. If either sleep on my stomach or on my back.

I normally sleep easily, and I sleep like a baby. I don't know what it is, but I can't fall asleep. I'm basically under no stress at all, I'm 16. I don't have much to worry about.

I close my eyes & try to clear my mind & focus on falling asleep, or if I see just like black with my eyes closed, I just focus on that. I try to relax myself as well.

I don't like milk so I won't drink hot milk, and I don't want to drink before bed.

Any suggestions for me to fall asleep easier? I just want to fall asleep in like 5-10 minutes, but lately it has been taking me 30 minutes at least to an hour!

A way for me to fall asleep quicker is:
1.Sometimes i maybe take a advil pm to help fall asleep quicker.
2.Count backwards from 100
3.Get a much earlier time like 6 or something so then your more tired out so your body thrives sleep.
4.Be very active during the day so you get tired quicker.
5.Put on some nice smoothing music so you feel more calm.(put on a sleep timer or somthing so its not on all night.)

exercise during the day (for intensive - at least 6 hours before bed time or lightly before bedtime) helps falling asleep easily and it gives you a deeper sleep too
