I just wanted to repost this question again. Recently I asked a question about favorite childhood television shows, and one of the answers featured Barney as one of their shows. This reminded me of the show. Did anyone else like watching Barney during their childhood? Did you have a favorite episode that you liked watching over and over again as a child? I grew up in 1990, and loved the show when it first came out in 1992! I used to have every (or almost every) episode from the first season on tape. Here was one of my favorite episodes.
Anyone remember this episode, titled I Just Love Bugs, I used to watch the I'm Bringing Home a Baby Bumblebee song scene over and over again (only a few minutes long). Tina (from what I remember) played the role of the bumblebee. I used to like the look of the bumblebee costume alot when I was a few years old, it's kind of embarrasing to admit actually, but I did. Thanks, hope to get a lot of answers, and some people with specific episodes they liked!

this is the last time I will post this question, just wanted to ask about it, seeing as it was such a long time ago 15 YEARS AGO WHEN I FIRST SAW IT, I was only 2 years old! And I only watched season 1 and 2 anyways, just was wondering if anyone else liked it such a long time ago. Thanks for all the answers, I will now move my full attention to the Middle East and issues surrounding that subject! Thanks for the answers!

barney is a dinosaur from our imagination and we he he grows its what we know a dinosaur sensation, barney shows us lots of things like how to play pretend, ABC'S and 123's and how to be a friend, barney come to play with us whenever we may need him, barney can be your friend to if you just make believe him! doo doo do doo do doo doo doo do doo do do do doooo doo!

My kids and granddaughter watched Barney. The big show when I was a kid was Captain Kangaroo! Loved Casper the Friendly Ghost, too!

Wow, did it really come out in 1992? I was around 7y then and I used to watch it with my siblings (my brother's the same age asyou and he had fun watching it too :) )and our neighbourhood friends. I have to say my fav. part of the show was always when it was time to sing the 'I love you' song. Lol, those were good times - these, are the kind of shows that I had fun growing up with.

i use to watch with my neices and nephews... i rember the baby bumblebee song lol... i thought barney was cute show.. i think its funny though the first few episodes he was really scary looking.....

i dont remember the episodes, but i loved barney. [= was born in 1994. i had a barney chair, bedding, table, slippers, doll[psh of course] and many, many, videos.

i dint like barney i was into anime myself but no power rangers or stuff like that just cartoons that my mom didnt care about.

yea the one were the little girl in the wheel chair gets stuck and they had to help her and started singing john Jacob jingle himmer smit-It was ******* hilarious

Barney was ok. I just hated Baby Bop. She appeared to be so dumb to me.
