What kinda of dog is Goofy ?

The only thing I wonder about Goofy is why he can talk and walk around while Pluto is confined to the life of a household pet.

With the thin body and long face, I think he's possibly a Whippet.

He is an anthropomorphic dog.

And I think anthropomorphic means humanoid dog.
