Plasmas are not as good as LCDs when it comes to PC connections. Check if the video frequencies (TV and PC) match. Check the display properties tab in your computer and try different options. Or maybe you're using a higher resolution than the one that is supported by the TV. Try reducing the resolution to 1024x720.

The Plasma Tv must have a 'PC' option, or try configuring the image from the Pc. Mine always worked, but i have a Samsung LCD 27"

What size in the plasma display ?
What reolution are you running ?
How long is the cable?
Can the TV handle the resolution and frequency set you've picked ? (read it's manual)

These are all bits on info that would be needed to help you. Try adding them to the question
