if injectors, check injector pressure.
if carburetor, see if fuel is going to cylinders
check for spark to all plugs
try spraying a bit of starter fluid into air intake and try cranking. if it starts or almost starts , its a fuel problem. if nothing happens it could be a electrical problem

check:
battery terminals, clean. make sure they're tight.
starter.
alternator.
ignition.
distributer.

hope this helps. usualy these are one of the problems. has been for my 460 and my freinds 5.8
