Did you run around barefoot as a child? My mother dressed me in patent leather shoes, and my ankles were always rubbed raw. Now I only like soft shoes. Maybe you should try some soft suede shoes?

Yes because I never wear socks. I was raised in the 60s and that was the style. I kinda got used to it. You might need much thicker socks.
