Yeah and isn't that strange, how we just start talking like we're about 2? I tried not to do that with my kids, but with my 5 month old grandson I can't help myself, lol.

I hate it when people talk down to baby talk, but I have a relatively new grandson and I find myself doing it sometimes too. I guess their cuteness brings it out of you. Not being a chauvinist but women are worse than men are. Men want to get back to their beer and football.

Ooooo...you are so cute. Look at you...you little baby. I can just pick you up and eat you. whose a big boy, whose a big boy, you are. Why I change my tone? Im not sure they are just really cute. Its a shame they get older. I do the same thing with animals for some reason.

yes i do i can't help it! the reason i do it is that when you talk to a baby in your normal voice you don't get much of a reaction but when you talk baby talk they smile and laugh and coo at you and i just love it! :)

Yes I talk baby talk to them lol I'm not sure why but they smile and the parents usually look at me like who are you? lol

I look at the baby & smile.I speak slow,gentle & softly so that I do not frighten the baby.

*blushes* yeah, I do. I have no idea why ... I just seem to go into auto baby talk mode. I even do it with my animals sometimes ... lol ...help!! :)
