Well the word Doppelganger is of german origin, to represt the the side of ones self that Does tyhings we would never do, A mutlipule personality, or a shadow in ones mind. Basicly the Fruidian Id.

A doppelganger is a twin and they say everyone has there own twin and you will never meet them because they live in a parallell universe thats what my teacher said at least

Dictionary.com describes it as a ghostly double of a living person. I don't think that really exists although my little brother dreamt that his doppelganger wanted to hurt me...he really should lay off the PB&J.
