arguing is one basic impulse of humans. since we are able to process high levels of thinking, most of the time our cerebral compulsion to protect our ego and all the things that you just said, causes us to argue, whether with profound or petty reasons. but then again, if humans are able to think in such levels, then corollary to this is the fact that we also have the ability to stop arguments. simply, you just have to choose whether you are to argue or not. all that i said are the things that go on in your head when you are in an argument-provoking situation, but the decision whether you are to argue depends upon you. ^_^

mostly because i feel like if i dont stand up for myself then that person will think he/she can walk all over me time and time again. I fight to prove i am not a person that can be treated shabbily i spose. Plus i usually end up fighting because i HATE when people think i should agree with them and that they are right. Sometimes i fight for the right to have a different opinion that someone else.

If I feel seriously violated or someone has done something against me of course I am going to defend myself and I also try to stick up for the innocent and those who can't stick up for themselves. It's not about ego or pride for me---it's about principal...sticking up for your own feelings and the feelings of the people around you.

If i get disrespected or get offended my pride and sense of style to debate gets the better of..me..I have and say what I feel so mostly my insitict too..I have good wrtiting sense and good with words so very rare that person stays mad with me since "poet" and I don't care if your mad as long u love me attuide lol" yeah..it works for me..but if i stay mad it has to be something dramatic like death or worse..or jail k..but for stupid things mostly don't waste of time and good life..

my pride and ego. I think that I am right. someone tells me that I am wrong. my ego and pride says, "dont you know who I am???" my feelings get hurt.
so... I explode. Usually, i have to make amends.
:-(

I've been wrong. And right. Better to err than not be right.
