I'm 28. I have naturally dark hair, fair skin and blue eyes. I read an arcticle once that said coral/peachy colors are good for that combo. I've always worn natural colors (I wear makeup everyday, but don't overdo it...some of the new, bright colors are just a trend that I think will pass as a black mark in history...kinda like the 80's parachute pants or something). Try a peachy colored lipstick or lipgloss that's not too orange and looks natural. A light pink shimmer on the eyelids always looked good on me, and try this...medium width black eyeliner just on the top of your lid (don't do the bottom), and slightly (very slightly) curve the end of the line up and out toward your temple. You won't look overdone, but your eyes will pop! It's so cool right now and it's also classic (that's so important). It sorta channels that Marilyn Monroe or Audrey Hepburn era. A peachy blush and light mascara (brown/black...not jet black looks more natural) Also, Trouser/wide leg jeans are really popular right now...That may be a good thing for you. I have big hips, butt and thighs compared to the rest of me so I know I'm thankful for the new trend. Also hot right now is billowy silk blouses...kinda like the 1960's gogo dress, but in a top. Just make sure everything fits right...you won't want to go around in clothes that look oversized. The jeans should fit well in the waist...give extra room in the thigh, and be just long enough so that it doesn't touch the floor, but just covers the heel of your shoe. Maybe even leaving up to a half inch or so to show that you are in fact wearing shoes! Also, if the pants are huge at the bottom, that wont be flattering either. Wide legs should be wide all the way down, but in a straight sorta way. If they're wide at the top and bell at the bottom, you're gonna look like that skater style from the late 90's. Oh, yeah, I also use a touch of sunless tanner, and a light bronzer powder on my face and chest...it gives you a bit of a glow without the sun damage...just don't go too dark...your face should appear to be slightly lighter than the rest of you.

Take two colors of material and hold them up to your face. One
a bright orange....the other a true darker pink. Whichever one goes with your skin and hair, shows what you are. If the orange looks best, then you are an autumn person and look good in brown tones, orange and fall tones, greens, beiges, etc.
If you are a winter, you look best in white, purple, true red, true green, royal blue. If you are a spring or summer you look good in pastels (and the pink will look good on you)...and sometimes you can wear both winter, and spring....
It is not the hair color that decides, but the skin tones...so try the colors out. For example, I am a spring and summer, but yellow looks terrible on me....I can also wear true colors of winter. Try it out.....against your skin.
I, too am plus size, and working on getting my weight down....but I hate to see large women wearing the wrong thing. It should look good on you.....not cling. Ruffles, large prints, tight clingy are "out" for large women. Wear tiny prints, stripes that go up and down or angled...not across...
Do not wear clinging tops....wear a belt with a loose open jacket...will give you a "waist"....wear lengths past your waist to cover tummy, etc. Be in style, but make the styles work for you...layer them...but longer....etc.
Too many women wear clothes that look terrible on them.
Also check into The Six Week Body Makeover....a great program for losing weight....not painful and it works. Have lost 20 pounds so far.....look up sixweekbodymakeover.com

It's hard to say what I think would look good on you without really seeing you. As for makeup, simplicity is always the best. Only wear what you need. Pick one feature that you love, like great eyes for example, and focus on that. Keep all the other makeup more toned-down so you don't look overdone.
As for fashion, some new styles trends for the fall are: sequins (like a sequin/sparkly top with dark jeans), the color gray, wide-legged pants, and tights. Also, vintage-type prints are very "in." However, the best option is to just try on a lot of different clothes and styles and see what looks best on you. Don't be afraid to try new things and experiment a little.
Torrid sounds like it would be a great place for you to shop! Something like this dress would probably look great. http://www.torrid.com/torrid/store/product.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302024200&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524442162742&bmUID=1187418494202
You could also wear it over black tights and it would look great.
I hope this helps, and good luck!
And to the uninformed chick who said you can't wear skinny jeans, obviously has no idea what she is talking about. Skinny jeans doesn't mean they are only for SKINNY people. They are just tighter than regular jeans, whether or not they look good on you depends on your individual body, not your size.

Well i think you would look best in light purples and greens. Dark washed jeans are in, Make up well I read in lots of magazines that people with blue eyes should apply orange-ish eye shadow, blue, or green. But remember when it comes to make up try natural not over doing it! people want to see your face!

I think you should darken you hair , it will make your blues stand out more. Try dark Brown then go further If you want. try on some wigs if your not sure abt changing it. at least you'll know how the color will look without committing. make sure you were your cosmetics when you try it.

Well no skinny jeans for you!
Boot cut jeans or trouser cut are good.
Bright colors are in for your age and younger! Make-up is starting to get very natural, or sometimes a dark eye!
