Do you have people seek you out to bum cigarettes? This really annoys me and I'm ready to tell these people I can't support their cigarette habit, one of us has to quit!
Please, no smart answers from you non smokers!

If it's only every once in a while, it doesn't bother me, but you're right! People can get in habit of using you, I'm like you,cigarettes are to high to be given out freely.

I've had that kind of thing happen before. Mostly I just say, sorry, I've only got enough to last me for awhile. Which is true--even if I have a whole pack, it's only going to last me for "awhile"! If it's a once in a while thing, I'll share, but they get the idea I don't support anyone Else's' habits!

I dont even smoke anymore, and people still ask me.
usualy strangers.
But I do think everybody should be responsible for their own vices.
I always bring along the things I enjoy so I dont have to bum something, I usualy share only with selected people though, Cause they share with me.

People use to bum them from me until I went to this place on line called "ThingsYouNeverKnewExisted.com. They sell cigarette loads. The kind that explode and scares the hell out of someone. It works for me.

No, I don't! In fact, many people come up to me and offer me a quarter for 1 cigarette. someone once offered me $1.00 for 3 cigarettes!

I quit smoking after 30 years. For 2 months afterward, people I knew would ask me for smokes. I didn't realize when I was smoking how much I was giving away. Tell them to buy their own smokes. If they can't afford it, they don't need to light up.

I agree, it was like that at my old job... The smoker girls would always go outside to smoke together, and make ME cover the phones since I was the only one who didn't smoke... At my new job we only have one smoker, so he is outnumbered, HA!

I have never had that happen that I know of. People are always wanting to bum a smoke and of coarse that is annoying.

It bugs me but, its like the creed of the smoker society to give one when asked. Therefore when you are in need, you wont be a burden.

I just got one bummed of me then but he will pay me back. If anyone wants a smoke off me it will cost them a dollar i don't stuff around with them.
