Which month is spring break in 2008? Do dates in different states vary? I am interested in NY dates.?

Spring break is always some time between March and April, but it is different for different schools, not just for different states. Back when spring break used to be Easter vacation, it was the week before Easter for everyone, but now most schools have moved toward a system of having a break at some fairly reliable time mid-semester. Since the schools begin and end at different times, they also have spring break at different times.
