Its been a great summer, fun and joyful for most. I guess now its time to just get ready for some rain. What do you do when its raining? do you like to play in the rain? drink hot cocoa? or sleep even? Summer is coming to an end faster then you think. So my question is. are you ready for the rainy season to get here?

You must be from the Pacific Northwest, mentioning the rainy
season and that summer is ending. Rain is expected here on
Sunday I heard. And our days are getting much cooler too.
When it's raining or sunny, whatever we have planned we
do. If you're from this area, you don't let the rain keep you home. Or you'd never get out of the house. LOL. No not
really, but I think people think that way when they think it rains
here all the time. Now Seattle, that's another story LOL. It
does rain up there alot more, since it's on the Puget Sound.
It's too early for Cocoa. Wait til November for that. Or even
October. But it's not even Sept. yet.
The last time I played in the rain. Was about twelve years
ago, during a thunder and rain storm in Phoenix. It
was unbearably hot and the rain fell in heavy drops. And it
felt sooo good, with all that heat. And the drops were warm.
That has to be experienced. That's true tho. The rain there
isn't cold like it is up here. At least not during monsoons.

In Texas, that won't be happening til long about October. Hell we only just started hitting 100 here. And we already HAD rain....all the way from March through July. All those things are good and all, but it's not time for those until after the State Fair of Texas. Enjoy your fall..........I'll catch up with you in October.

I love rain, especially thunderstorms. I either sit by the window watching the storm, or go outside and go puddle hopping. Usually the puddle hopping is only when I have my friend Heather along for company. We have lots of fun in storms. Watching storms is very relaxing, to just hear the rain falling, and watch lightning streak across the sky.

It doesn't rain much where i currently live, actually it doesnt rain at all. When it does (rarely) i just like to watch from a window and enjoy it.....i used to live in michigan, where it's cloudy and it rains a lot so when it rains here i just like to think and wish i was back in the mitten state.

Hmm now I know why I feel like crap, change of season seems to do this to me.

I like to do all that, well not at the same time.
sleeping and playing in the rain while drinking hot cocoa would only make me feel worse.
But of those sounds great I'll try and do them all at one time or another.

Yes, but summer is not over for a while yet. We are still in a drought here and no rain expected until mid week.

I love rain, dancing barefooted in the back yard, where nobody can watch me, love to observe raindrops falling and running down the windows and enjoy the knowledge of that rain is life.

Well, I wont get thirsty every 2 minutes, it's still gonna be warmish, it wont necessarily rain. But if it does, It'll make the air cleaner. What I miss about the summer is holidays

Tooooooooo much rain in Vancouver, BC Canada. I love CRISP Fall air. My son likes the rain so I have learned to tolerate it after 33 years in Vancouver area, he loves to jump in puddles. Otherwise, my son and I like to do crafts and colour, play cars and blocks...sit and read to him...make tea, watch the rain fall from my window.
