So I just bought eight packs of condom for my bf tonight. However, it seems that the clerk and the other customer just watched with some kind of suspicious and disbelief look.
What's wrong there? Or perhaps I'd rather ask my bf or my brother to accompany me next time I buy more condoms?

Guys get funny looks when they buy them also. Are you possibly projecting your own embarrassment onto the clerk? He may have been embarrassed about the situation himself, or possibly turned on.
Who really knows, and does it matter? I'm just wondering why you're on the computer if you have that many condoms in the house. They're like groceries... you tend to use most of them during the first few days after buying them.

Nothing wrong with buying a lot of condoms. However, most people only buy a pack or two at a time because they're on the expensive side, so maybe they were just surprised that someone is buying so many at one time

I buy condoms all the time and I've never had that experience.
Once, when I was about 8 months pregnant, I bought a 12-pack... and the female clerk almost fell over laughing.
I asked her what was wrong, and she said,
"Honey, I think it's a little bit too late for that."
OK, it WAS pretty funny.

Nothing at all.
You're being responsible and smart by practicing safe sex, if the clerk or whoever is around doesn't like the idea of a woman taking care of herself and her man, then that's their problem.
You don't have to give a hoot what they think of you, you're making the right choice, whether your boyfriend or brother are with you or not.
Good question, promoting safe sex.

You do not need to bring anybody with to buy anything if you have already done it once alone. Do you want to regress and act like a child. If you are grown up enough to use them you are grown up enough to buy them.
Wrong in this instance is in the mind of the beholder.

nicely i had a chum who could wager that i could not purchase a field of condoms and once I did she'd supply me the money and take the condoms off me. that's how she tackled it. as quickly as a woman sent the guy out to get a condom and he have been given them particularly in the present day. as quickly as they finished making out in her place of abode, she asked him how he have been given them so rapid and he suggested, "i borrowed out of your neighbor!" plenty extra advantageous to get your person. you does not believe the failings adult males could do.

oh now..they were just jealous because you obviously have a sex life and they dont..
dont worry about it. in fact...next time you buy more..go up to the checkout and tell them you need this many coz ur man goes through them like crazy coz he has such a high sex drive.....
make em jealous.
