Yes, I lost a towel. I searched for it but it was gone. The next time I did laundry, the towel has reappreared. I have no idea where it has gone off to in those days inbetween

I lost the laundromat blues. After years, I still feel grateful remembering hauling laundry, before I could use my own washer and dryer. I hated laundromats so much that for a few years I washed all laundry in the bathtub, and hung the dripping wash on the line; in the winter I'd then bring in the damp wash and hang it again inside to dry.
I still lose socks sometimes to the sock dimension that lurks in every dryer. Sometimes they show up inside pant legs or appear under a sheet.

my daughter forgot her purse with cell in it and we went back 2 hrs. later and noone turned the stuff in. someone stole them instead!
