Question

Okay I am gonna host an award for the "stupidest RULE(NOT RELIGION BUT RULE) from a religion". So here are the nominees

1)Catholics(me, not that I take it that seriously if at all)-for prohibiting the use of condoms and birth control pills
2)Mormons-for not being able to drink coffee or anything with caffeine in it
3)Jehovas' Witnesses-for not being able to celebrate anything(even their own birthdays)
4)Muslims-for fasting and not being able to drink or eat anything for thirty days(even if theres plenty of food around)

if you wanna nominate or vote for anyone else, say who and why(gotta be a religion not me for posting this question)

I'm going with Catholics......prohibiting birth control is only going to lead to even more global overpopulation.

The Vatican just said that you CAN use condoms to avoid the spread of STDs, so that's not true. And they allow some forms of natural birth control as well.

Also the Mormons allowed caffeine when the religion bought Pepsi some time ago ... um I think your information is really out of date!

I think the stupidest rule in any religion is not allowing clergy to marry, and not allowing women to be clergy.

i don't understand them, yet i could choose for to offer Ray convenience an excellent previous shout out for inventing the crocoduck. he's a genius. not for the justifications he thinks he's a genius, yet how attractive is that little crocoduck? My entire relatives is chock packed with crazies, I advise creationists. i could not choose for.

Catholics- for not getting to eat meat on fridays only during Lent... what does THAT prove?
Southern Baptists- can't dance- huh?
By the way, Muslims only don't eat during the daylight hours during Ramadan- they CAN and do eat after sundown and up until sun-up.

1, because it is crazy to have that many kids that you can't afford!
