PT, you ignore them, paying attention to questions and answers that interest you and don't harm other people.

What we might be seeing here is a sort of Internet palace coup -- one group of users attempting to take power from those who they believe has had power too long or has some how insulted them. It could also be a case of age-bashing or some other type of bashing within the forum too.

The Internet seems to have created a new psychology whereby people sense some level of anonymity and feel they can get away with anything, if they are nasty and devious enough to do it.

Wow, that's bad. I always liked his comments.

I worked at an ISP in a section next to people that did this sort of stuff, and it was just a full day of careless cut & paste answers. If enough people complained the target was eventually thrown off, right or wrong.

It's deplorable, really. I hope it gets worked out, but I don't have much faith. :(

Oops... to answer your question, (IMO) ignore them. And if part of what they are is to complain about everyone, they'll get thrown off. :)

You just have to ignore them. It is pretty weak that Yahoo will throw you to the wolves without giving you a proper explination and no way to defend yourself.

I have reported the User in question due to the fact that she violated Community Guidelines by personally attacking another user!

So, she defeated her own purpose by her post!!

Just report and ignore.
Make sure when you report you copy the Offencive Post in FULL and Make sure to say WHY you're reporting them in the Comments window.

Like this:

Comments:

TROLL
HARASSMENT
PERSONAL ATTACKS
INSULTING
CLONING
ADULT CONTENT
REPEATED ABUSES
MULTIPLE USER ID'S (etc...you get the picture)

[then add the content of the offensive material.]

Report them...ignore their questions and answers and/or NAME THEM * in your answer if you feel you have to answer.
*name them as in saying "this is a troll" or "this is a pervert" or "this is a clone", etc.
