i was playing with my dog and he wacked his head against my nose.my nose hurts a bit do you think its broken. it looks alittle swollen. (i felt bad after my dog hit my nose beacuse he was afraid i was gonna get mad. i didn't get mad cause it waas an accident) but anyway how do i know if it is broken

Your dog (sounds really sweet) probably just hit it really hard. I think if you broke your nose, you'd be in much much more pain...& possibly be bleeding.

Guess you won't know without an xray. It's just a guessing game otherwise. I've known people who've broken their noses and never got treated. They live, but it can heal wrong, looks a little crooked, then if they want to get it fixed it must be rebroken and they have to get a nose job.
I would say if it's swollen and you're in the least bit vain about your looks call a doctor.
