2. What will happen if an iron spoon is used to stir a 1M solution of aluminum chloride, AlCl3 (at 25 C)?

I have to say that iron(II) nitrate doesn't exist! But, in theory, the aluminium spoon would dissolve, and become iron plated. This is because Al is more reactive than Fe. This means that in the second reaction, nothing happens at all.

(Except there might be slight fizzing, because solutions of AlCl3 are acidic).
