I have three girls and one boy and have used both. Just kind of depends on the baby. I have found from my experience (now this is just my opinion) that huggies work better on little skinny bottoms (all three of my girls are very petite) and pampers work best on my son's large bottom. The huggies tended to leak on the sides with my son; whereas the pampers didn't. The pampers just seemed to fit around his bottom better. The girls just seemed like there was too much diaper with the pampers and the huggies fit them much trimmer. Both diapers are very good.

Hope this helps a little.......just one mom's opinion. Best of Luck!

When my daughter was first born I liked huggies newborns better, cause they had a little dip for her imbelical cord. Once the imbelical cord fell off and she grew little bit the huggies started leaking. We would change the sheets like four times a night, and sometimes she wouldn't be able to have a sheet in her crib because I didn't have time to do laundry in between the changings! So I switched to Pampers swaddlers, and she's still in the 1&2's stage that you can buy bulk at Sam's Club. I am very happy with the Pampers, and so is my washing machine! I also have heard that Kroger brand is really good from my brother and sister-in-law and that they are reasonably priced. Also I have heard that Luv's leak too when your baby is smaller but as they get bigger into their toddler years they work too. Really it just depends. If you like a brand stick with it, if your not satisfied shop around, cause the worse that happens is you have a laundry pile and a messy baby that can be cleaned up in no time! Hope this helps.

I am all over the place! I love pamapers swaddlers come in sz 1 & 2 at start my favorite they stop at sz 2. Why don't know!
After that age I actually like Luvs the best for size3/4. As they get crawling I switch to Cruisers (pampers)

Huggies has got my fav for pull ups! everytime!

From what I know fromother Mom's Huggies vs Pampers
Most like Swaddlers best at start and then Huggies vs. Pampers after that is based on what fits baby body type/preevent leaks best. Happy diapering!

For me ( mother of 3 boys and one girl) Pampers are the best for my boys and huggies worked good for my daughter. But for an added incentive Pampers has those points and you get to get cool gifts for your baby by entering those and just paying shipping. Pampers though do tend to be more expensive. Luvs work just as good as huggies though to me. They tend to leave a residue on my baby. Maybe they changed over the last couple of years but I used to think they were just as good as Pampers. But now pampers is all I buy.

I think it depends.
I loved Huggies Newborn but then when he grew I switched to Pampers Swaddlers 1&2's. I stayed with Pampers until I switched to Sams Club brand somewhere during 3's. They are cheaper and work great.

I personally prefer Huggies. My son used Pampers when he was first born and I found that they leaked so I switched him to Huggies and haven't had problems with them.

I think it is totally preference. Another consideration is the baby's anatomy...especially boys. I had a boy and he did great with Huggies, never once leaked or overflowed. But, I had friends that swore by Pampers or Luvs. Good luck with your little one!
