Absolutely! Look at the different nest created by birds. They are stunning! Observe how spiders create their home for food. Beautifully crafted by webs. How the bees make their honey. How ants work on their system.Just observe how they adapt to the environment and you will really find out how creative this creatures are. In fact man's arts are based in their creations. Really, they are just a few wonders of life.

The creativity of animals is demonstrated in their habitations, and some animals make very complex homes. Consider beavers; whether you would grant them enough sentience to be called creative begs the question of whether creativity is a sentient principle.
I think people have no idea of their own place in the world, let alone are able to understand animals.
All human behavior seems learned from watching nature.
Is nature creative?

I saw an elephant on the news recently who painted recognizable images of flowers and trees by manipulating a paintbrush with its trunk. I turned up this website just now, but I don't think the elephant I saw on TV is included in this site... Still pretty amazing, though.

I once saw a painting that an elephant did. She uses her trunk and holds a paintbrush in it, painting various colors on a canvas. I also saw a monkey that smoked. But that wasn't creative.

My dog took the chicken pot pie that I fed to her last night, and created throw-up on the chair... it dripped down to the floor below the chair... so, she created a gigantic mess.
My mom's little dog eats cat poop, then creates her own little turds and leaves them by the cat box.
Both dogs can create powerful, paint-peeling, farts.

Birds create nests from twigs -- it doesn't get any more creative than that.

i hate to say this and in the risk of sounding like a perv or w.e.....we did take "doggy style" from dogs.....haha we take many actions of animals and put them to use in our lives so i would say animals are quite creative...haha

animals are just hunter-gatherers at this point, like us humans were when we were cavemen. But think about it- eventually animals will evolve into beings that think as advanced as us- there will be technology, art, music, everything that we have. If humans live to see that long.
