Socrates was accused of IMpiety, that is, not believing in the gods that everyone else did.

No, I wouldn't drink the hemlock. I don't have that much respect for my government. But when they came for me, I'd like to think I'd take a few of them with me. Might make the rest think twice.

As Socrates was not guilty, this question is essentially asking if I was accused of a crime that I didn't commit, would I plead guilty and accept the death penalty at my own hand because I owed a duty to the government to accept their (false) judgement.

Ridiculous!
