if an average american takes the IBt Toefl test,
what score do you think he/she is gonna get??
120 is possible points all you can get

Given the abysmal grammar and spelling I've seen on this site, I would say the average American would do not quite as well as the average Japanese student.

Last I saw, no one had gotten 120. (That's probably changed.) I'd say an "average" American--say with a high school diploma, C+ average, no college, who's been out of school for a couple years and doesn't study, would get 100 or so.

you do not need to study for the toefl Ibt ! its so so so so so easy ! if u can talk in english, u will cross a 110 ! i got a 114 and i did not even have to borrow a book !
