You asked a great question, Jeff and the answers you got were great too.

Although we all learned to spell in High School or College there are still words that give us problems, especially when we are rushed.

And when we are typing text it is annoying to have to stop and look up the correct spelling of a word.

BUT with a FREE program called "ANSWERS.COM" (it used to be called GURUNET) all you need to do is put your cursor on ANY word, press Alt and presto the spelling and meaning of that word comes up.

Itr is just such a wonderful time-saving FREE program it is a pleasure to pass it on to you (and others).

The nice thing is that it is non-intrusive. All you will see is a tint blue +symbol at your lower right desktop. Click on that + and a tiny window will come up on which you can type (if you wish) any word to get the spelling OR meaning.

And here is the best feature of all :

Yoiu are reading some text or news item and suddenly a word appears such as "libertarian" or "reactionary" or perhaps"hubris", all simple word but ones for which we forgot the meaning.

SOLUTION: put your cursor on that word, press ALT and up jumps the meaning of the word and you haven't lost the context of what you are reading.

Try it, you'll love it and if you Don't...just go to Control Panel and remove it in 10 seconds.

I am sooooo tired of seeing, "your" instead of "you're."
Also, it is not "defination," it is "definaition."
