Yes. Unless you are part of a sport that you hit in (boxing, UFC, football, hockey, rugby, etc), you should NEVER lay your hands on another person unless you have to defend yourself.

Who would give consent to be hit? I think hitting is necessary if you are defending someone. Some things are important enough to fight about. I just think many people fight about pidily stuff. Both genders should use self control.

It is WRONG even with their consent. Even in self defense. We are not animals to solve our problems like this. If somebody gets into our nerves best think to do is ignore him. Try this you 'll see that is working very well.

... it's just wrong to hit people.

If you're doing it in self defense, then at least you've got an "excuse" - but honestly, unless you're at risk of physical harm... (or are protecting someone who's at risk of physical harm) ...there's no reason to hit people.

Yea but who gives their consent to be hit? "Hit me please" is not something you hear unless the person is ready to kill you but wants the justifiable homicde defense.
