There's a lot of things. It helps me relax by getting things out that are pent up. It helps me get out ideas and thoughts. It allows me to feed my compulsive need to create. The only pressure is what I put on myself and it doesn't matter if I'm drafting something out for a bigger piece or just doing some silly little sketch it makes me happy.

If you think about it drawing is the only form of art that you can break down material wise and still come out with something cool. Pencil, eraser and paper. Simplicity at it's best!

But more than anything it allows me to be me. No one giving me crap on the job, no dealing with the outside world, I don't have to pretend to be someone I'm not, Just me and the stuff that comes to mind. It's my own private Idaho.

i like that fact that basically that was the gift i was born with, that that is what i am made to do. I like how free i can get with art and drawing, i can do anything in the world as long as i have the tools to do it. I also like the fact that drawing can be encorperated into anything, like there will always be need for it no matter what day and age

Drawing helps me to relax. I can draw and sort out things that are bothering me. It kind of helps me clear my head, or ease my worries for a bit.
