do dog's have any nerves in the tip of thier tail or at all in thier tail

you see my step mom accidently dropped a tray on the tip of my dog's tail and she didnt yelp at all she wagged her tail but made blood fly around and she seemed like nothing happened

of course they do. dogs yelp when u step on their tail if they didnt have nerves there they wouldnt know u were stepping on it accidentally
