is it bad if a girl has a late period besides if they are pregnant cuz my gf is having her period a few days late and she hasnt had sex so she cant be pregnant and she is fraking out cuz she thinks she has something wrong with her and is this normal?

Has she changed any of her habits?
Doing something different can change your cycle.
Has she lost weight? Will make your cycle longer or no period at all.
Many things can make a women's period be late.
From stress to hormones to over exercising can make a period late. As we get older our body changes sometimes are cycle maybe 25days, the next cycle 20 days, and another changes 30days. A woman's cycle will get longer as she ages, but that usually doesn't happen till after 40yrs.
I know my cycle changes b/c of stress, too much exercising or medication.

Chances are that she's completely normal. Sometimes, for unexplained reasons, cycles don't exactly run on cue, and it doesn't mean that anything is wrong...it just how the body works on occassion. Sometimes, there are factors that may contribute to the lateness...or for her to flat out skip a period. If she's in her teens and just recently started getting her period, her body probably hasn't worked out all the kinks yet to be on a regular cycle. The tell-all sign would be pregnancy. But since she isn't that, then there might be some other factors that may contribuate to the lateness such as traveling, stress, exercising a lot, eating disorders, or even recently living with a new group of women (college room/dormmates, etc). For reasons unknown, women's chemistry may adapt around each other's cycles, causing them to coinside more.
So chances are that if she's healthy, there's nothing to worry about. However, if she is really concerned, she should make an appointment with her Gyno.

If she has never had sex, she CAN'T be pregnant. It's pretty common for young girls to have irregular periods. If it's only a few days late, she shouldn't worry. It will arrive when her body is finally ready, and probably at a really inconvenient time!

well if her and her boyfriend were having fun with like just underwear on like you can get pregant too..
its not likely it can so happen
