Actually being lost in knowing what to do next, this minute, or day, or month, year..............I think it is due to growing up without parents or a guardian - my brother and I slipped thru the cracks after my mother died. He was 18 when cancer took her, and I was 6 years younger; somehow we maintained the house, I continued on at school and played in the symphony. Then I graduated, did some college, landed some great jobs, and had fun without direction. But there is a lost feeling when you don't know or can't make the decision of what to do. That's when I need motivation.
Lack of guidance is what I call it. These things are usually passed down from the parent. Knowing what to do next is part instinctive, part learned behavior.

I don't know if this is how you meant "lost" in the question, but what came to mind when I read it was lost - when I am so overwhelmed some days with things to do and priorities, I don't know where to start. Take care & have a good weekend.

Yes I do, I was lost today, because I went to the cemetery to tidy my mum and dads grave, and I realised about from my husband and son I am alone, and I just felt so sad.

I felt lost once last Monday, but I only felt that way cause I was literally lost! I was running some trails to train for cross country and I made a wrong turn, but then I found one of my teammates, and she knew where she was going! :)

Yes I do. Not knowing exactly which direction I want to go in my life and always seeming to come up empty no matter what I try.

My future is as blank as my room's wall is
use to paste my drawings on it when I was a kid, and the future are full of possibilities
Now they both are just blanks.
