ok so i am not a very outgoing gal a mate from work invited me over tonight for a BBQ and she will dye my hair
it all sounds kewl but i get so nervous i dont know if i should go
i always pull out of things because i feel uncomfortable and would rather hang out at home but i realy want to make the effort!
i hate being such a loser and anxiety rules my life
should i go?
should i stay home??

maybe you could try going...
i know anxiety makes things very difficult. have you discussed this with a doctor?
many people can receive successful medical help with anxiety...

It is hard to live a life you want when you know anxiety rules. I have been going through that lately and I just find ways to surround myself with laughter. It always helps to have people around. You should go and only go for a little while. Don't do that hair dying or anything just go for a while eat something at the BBQ and then leave. Tell her you're tire or something and leave. Take small steps and little by little you'll enjoy being out again. Good Luck

This is your first step of coming out so you have to go. I think you want to go and need conformation, now you have it just GO. Don't let anxiety rule, you rule anxiety this is your life now take control, go and enjoy yourself, and have fun for a change. Once you do it a couple of times, you will see that it is nice to make new friends, and do different things, go have fun,laugh,eat and leave Mr. or Ms. anxiety at home.

I think you should go. And, the more things you go to, the more outgoing you will get.
